Cantina Laredo sold to new owner, opening 2 new locations

Cantina Laredo, located at 6535 Youree Drive in Shoppes at Bellemead, was recently sold to Ramiro Gutierrez, owner of Casa Jimador. Gutierrez is embarking on an expansion journey with the acquisition of two new locations.

About Cantina Laredo’s Rebrand

Cantina Laredo has been a Shreveport staple, serving up gourmet Mexican cuisine for the past 18 years. The restaurant is expected to close temporarily for renovations before reopening at a later date. The renovated location will be called Casa Cantina, paying homage to the former establishment while ushering it into a new era.

Other Casa Jimador Locations

This expansion marks just one facet of Gutierrez’s growth strategy, as he also plans to launch a Casa Jimador location in North Bossier. The North Bossier location will open on February 20, 2024. It is located at 5420 Airline Drive.

These locations are in addition to Casa Jimador on Line Ave and El Jimador Mexican Grill on Alkay Drive.
