Greaux the Good announces 2024-2025 Program Committee

Now entering its third fiscal year, Greaux the Good remains committed to supporting Louisiana’s local farm-direct markets, farm stands, and other agriculture-based businesses. With a continued focus on funding and resources for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) incentive initiatives, Greaux the Good is dedicated to helping these entities increase accessibility and community engagement.

Last year, Greaux the Good restructured its Market Advisory Committee, creating a more specialized and proactive Program Committee. Greaux the Good is pleased to introduce the 2024-2025 Program Committee members, who bring a wealth of expertise from diverse food access and agricultural sectors across Louisiana. This year’s committee will play an essential role in supporting Greaux the Good staff, eligible participants, and partners in areas like marketing, outreach, and technical assistance.

  • Marquetta Anderson – Community Relations Coordinator, St. Helena Farmers Market

  • Mike Bass – Board President, Lafayette Farmers and Artisans Market
