Swaine, whose background in journalism preceded her leadership roles in downtown development, is set to rekindle her passion for reporting as The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate’s new business reporter. The SBC Advocate launched its operations in Shreveport on July 17.

Her subsequent dedication to fostering downtown development through her roles with the Downtown Development Authority and the Downtown Shreveport Development Corporation exemplifies her commitment to community growth and enhancement.

Her tenure at the Downtown Development Authority will conclude on December 31, paving the way for Swaine to embark on her new journalistic endeavor with The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate as the new year commences.
