Chief Meteorologist Jeff Castle commits to KSLA for 3 more years

Chief Meteorologist for KSLA, Jeff Castle, shared that he has committed to KSLA for 3 more years. Castle first joined the KSLA First Alert Weather Team as Chief Meteorologist in June of 2014.

He has experience tracking storms in some of the most notorious parts of the country for severe weather. This experience has helped reinforce Jeff’s belief that the most important part of his job is providing critical, life-saving guidance during severe weather. He devotes all of his efforts to keeping you and your family safe during severe weather.

Jeff earned his bachelor of science degree in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, a meteorology school that is world-renowned for severe weather research and its rigorous coursework.

After graduation, Castle moved to Seattle where he earned a master of science degree in atmospheric sciences from the University of Washington.

“Sorry ArkLaTex, you’re stuck with me for a while longer,” Castle shared on his social platforms. We’re thankful to have Jeff Castle here in the ArkLaTex and look forward to many more years to come.
