Rubba Boot served 56,000 cars in 2023
Rubba Boot Crawfish Company is a local favorite for crawfish, shrimp, and more. When they opened on March 5, 2021 they sold only four sacks. But, word quickly spread. You’ve likely seen cars lined up for blocks on Youree Drive, hoping they still have product available when they get to the front, often 2-3 hours after waiting in line.
Wrapping up 2023, the company shared an astounding number! 56,000 cars passed through the drive thru restaurant this year.
The company’s mission is to provide the people of Shreveport-Bossier with the freshest, highest-quality boiled and live crawfish at the best price possible. Their crawfish are caught and shipped daily from their family-owned crawfish farms in Opelousas and Aurnadville, LA.
Rubba Boot is located in the old gas station at 5909 Youree Drive. June 11 was the last day of the season for 2023. Rubba Boot looks forward to returning again next season and thanks their customers for such an amazing year!
“Thanks to my people for supporting us and the girls who work so hard at the Boot,” they shared on Facebook. “We’ll see y’all in January.”
