Visit Shreveport-Bossier welcomes new VP of Marketing & Communications

Visit Shreveport-Bossier (VSB) is proud to announce the appointment of Serena Gray as its new Vice President of Marketing and Communications. With over 14 years of marketing experience, Gray brings much expertise, including Destination Marketing.

As a proud Louisiana Tech University alumna, Gray has developed a reputation for crafting innovative and impactful marketing strategies that inspire engagement and drive growth across various industries, including restaurants, leisure activities, nonprofit organizations, and destination marketing. Her background uniquely positions her to enhance Shreveport-Bossier’s presence as a premier destination for travelers.

As the Director of Visit Webster Parish for the past 6 years, Grey has specialized in destination marketing, where her strategic initiatives have successfully promoted local attractions, festivals, and cultural experiences, contributing to economic growth through tourism. Her leadership and contributions to Louisiana’s tourism industry have earned her notable recognition.

Gray’s dedication to professional development is reflected in her participation in the Shreveport Leadership Program and the Louisiana Travel Association’s Leadership Academy. She has also been honored as a “15 Under 40” recipient by the Greater Minden Chamber of Commerce, a testament to her impact and leadership within the community and the travel industry.
